Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is a group of professionals with an interest in seeing the library thrive and contribute to the local community. We ask for a commitment of one meeting a month, fundraising support, help with event planning, and ad hoc committee work as needed. Board membership is a three-year, January-to-January commitment. Each January we elect the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
The Hamlin Community Library By-Laws are reviewed regularly, and you can access them by clicking here.
We always have an eye out for prospective board members, and there are always opportunities for committee work and fundraising support. If you are interested in opportunities to support the Hamlin Community Library, please fill out our volunteer application so we can help you get involved! The form can be found here.
Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of each month via Zoom or in person.
Please contact us prior to meetings for details. (570) 689-0903, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
