A place for everyone.

There has been a library in Salem Township since 1969. Originally located in Wimmers Station, the library is a proud contributor to the local community.

The library has gone through many transformations through the years, including the building that is currently in use. Now we have officially changed the library's name to reflect our location more clearly, becoming Hamlin Community Library. We are a member of the Wayne Library Alliance, giving us the ability to offer more extensive services than we would be able to on our own. We also collaborate with the Western Wayne School District, Wayne Tomorrow!, Rotary, and Zipper Junction's annual toy drive, to name a few. Stop in for a library card and find out all of the services available at the Hamlin Community Library.
