We had lunch from Yopo II in Hamlin, played some games, and listened to author, Grace Lin, read from her recently published book.

Students wrote Haiku with leadership by Prof. Pat Engle, and Mrs. McLaughlin from Western Wayne High School. 

Becoming an annual tradition, we celebrated the end of our summer reading program with an ice cream social.

A good time was had by all! Lovely little pots with plants to put in them.

Author Event

Musings

"Musings" is a wonderful collection of short stories, and we had a terrific time hearing about where the stories came from, and hearing portions read in the authors' voices.

Yard Sale

We had a very busy day selling gently used items, baked goods, and BOOKS! It was a great time, and we had beautiful weather.

Library Open House

Thank you to all of you who attended our Open House. It was a wonderful day of information, tours, and support. We have merely scratched the surface of all we hope to do to make our library the resource our community deserves!

A good time was had by all, and the Taste of the Poconos event in Newfoundland was a huge success!

Paint-n-Sip

Always a favorite, this event was held from 2 to 4 on Saturday, February 4.  We enjoyed hot cocoa and hot cider, and painted wine bottles ala Monet!

Pysanky Egg Painting

We learned a lot about the tradition and the craft. We hope to have a repeat of this experience!
