Will you help?
You may, or may not, know that we get about 50% of our funding from state and county funds. The rest of our monies come from proccessing passport applications, fundraisers, and donations from generous people in the community. Our budget continues to grow, but our government funding does not. Right now, since people can't go many places, passport applications are minimal. We will be depending, now more than ever, on your generosity.
We know that everyone is facing the same circumstances, so we hesitate to ask, but we also know that if we don't remind people of our situation, they won't know we need help. There are a number of ways you can donate to the library.
Easy ways you can help include
donate used clothing in the shed in the back of the library. For every pound of usable donations, we get a check for the library.
sign up for Amazon Smile. If you select Hamlin Community Library as your charity, we get a small percentage of each purchase you make.
visit the Wayne Libraries donation page: https://www.waynelibraries.org/donate.html on this page you can donate specifically to Hamlin, or any or all of the libraries in Wayne County.
You can donate through PayPal at the link in the footer of our website.

We know everyone is going through the same tough economic conditions, but remember, the library has many free resources. To be able to continue to provide these services, we would appreciate any help you can offer.
