It's been a while since we posted anything here, and so much has happened!
The school year more than half-way over, and whether your children are going to school five days a week, two days a week, or learning from home, we are all experiencing a very different year.
Know that one thing you can count on is that the library is here, we're open, and we're striving to serve the community in the best and most comprehensive ways possible. Our wireless access is always on, and it's free. We encourage you to use it to your best advantage. Now that it's starting to get warmer we're seeing people sitting outside of the library in our beautifully landscaped front yard using their mobile devices, or reading!
If you're not ready to go into public places, remember that we still offer curbside pickup. Just call us at (570) 689-0903 or go online at https://waynelibraries.org to let us know what type of materials you're looking for. We'll call, email, or text you when your order is ready for pickup (based on the preference you set on your account), and you can call us from your car when you arrive to pickup your items. We bring your selections right to you. It's that easy.
Activity is picking up, including people applying for passports. Don't forget, we can help you get ready to travel by helping you apply or renew for your passport. We can even take your photo, and we are handicap accessible. Call, or go online to make an appointment today.
As always, we rely on your generosity to continue our efforts. We are accepting donations via PayPal, as you can see at the top and bottom of our web pages. We can also accept your financial support at the library, via mail, check, cash or credit/debit cards.
We are currently open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. We hope to see you soon here at Hamlin Community Library, 518 Easton Turnpike, Lake Ariel, PA 18436.
