Board of Trustees
Who are we?
The Board of Trustees is comprised of professionals from Northeastern Pennsylvania, however, there is no residency requirement. People who join our board have an interest in seeing the library thrive and make a positive contribution to the local community. We ask for a commitment of one meeting a month, and additional responsibilities supporting fundraising, event planning, and ad hoc committee work as needed. Board membership is a three year, January to January commitment. Each January we elect the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Mission: Hamlin Community Library is the welcoming heart of our community where ALL can learn, discover, create, and connect.
Vision: Hamlin Community Library is a regional library that grows to meet the evolving needs of the community.
